Our Sixth Comittee is CC:Dissolution of Soviet Union which is a upper intermediate-level comittee.

The late 80s were a turbulent time for Eastern Europe. The Western bloc had recovered from the backwardness of the 1960s and had developed as much as possible. The communist eastern bloc, however, was economically backward and had exhausted all its resources. There were economic crises, corruption and disorder. The Warsaw Pact was disintegrating. In such an environment, the USSR, the heart of communism, Marx's dream, began to dissolve. In this committee, the delegates will revive the deputies in the Assembly of the Soviet Union and try to reform and bring the country out of its impasse situation.
